CPT 85610 is a prothrombin time (PT), usually reported with INR. It measures how quickly blood clots and is used to monitor warfarin therapy, to check liver function and before surgery. It is a single blood test.

The laboratory analysis only. The blood draw is a separate small charge. Patients on warfarin often have this test monthly, so the price matters more than it looks; finger-stick INR at an anticoagulation clinic or at home is often cheaper.
